Progress today: Removed crankshaft bolt/pulley/gear, timing covers & belt, exhaust manifold nuts (one was rounded off). Sludge and oil was everywhere. Hopefully replacing cam and crank seals will reduce some of that. Also, timing cover gaskets were partially mangled.
Next up: Disconnect wiring and fuel connections from intake manifold; remove cam gears; unbolt exhaust so manifold can pull away from head. Head gasket schedule to arrive in two days.
Need to order coolant hose kit, exhaust manifold nuts (at least one; more if they don't cost much), timing belt cover gaskets, possibly head bolts.
